Dubai has accelerated an integrated infrastructure plan that includes 72 major road, bridge and tunnel projects scheduled for completion by the end of 2027. Planners must now decide how to coordinate the new 1,425-metre bridge, costing AED 786 million, that will link entry and exit points for Dubai Islands from the Bur Dubai side with the already finished corridor.
