Deira City Council Raises Water Rates Starting January 2027

Implementation Steps After the Vote
Utility billing software updates are scheduled to finish by November 30, 2026, according to the council resolution. Residents who wish to install low-flow fixtures can apply for rebates listed in the same resolution; those applications open on August 15, 2026, and close on June 30, 2027.
