Further east, Marasi Waterfront Park added fenced off-leash sections last month near the intersection with Al Abraj Street, complete with resistance bands and yoga mats stored in locked bins for members who pay 120 AED per quarter.
Both locations sit within a ten-minute walk of most residential towers in the Business Bay core, reducing the need for separate gym trips during July heat.
Numbers show steady uptake
Dubai Health Authority data released in June 2026 recorded 2,800 participants in outdoor group fitness sessions across Business Bay parks in the first half of the year, up from 1,900 in the same period of 2025. Marasi Waterfront Park alone logged 420 dog-owner check-ins during June, with sessions capped at 25 people to keep pathways clear for other users.
Those interested should arrive before 7 a.m., carry proof of vaccination for dogs, and register through the municipality app to reserve a spot at the next scheduled circuit. Early arrivals also secure the limited shaded benches near the canal edge before temperatures climb.
