Two Jumeirah venues drawing daily crowds
Jumeirah Beach Park on Jumeirah Road offers four marked lap lanes in its main outdoor pool, maintained at 26 degrees Celsius. Swimmers enter through the park gate near the intersection with 10th Street and pay 15 dirhams for a two-hour session. Further east, the rock pools at Umm Suqeim Beach along Al Sufouh Road provide a 300-metre natural circuit where the incoming tide creates steady resistance for interval training. The site sits opposite the Jumeirah 3 post office and draws members of the local triathlon club on weekdays.
Entry costs and usage figures
City records show Jumeirah Beach Park pool logged 87,000 visits in the first half of 2026. Rock-pool users at Umm Suqeim pay nothing but must arrive before 8am when parking along Al Sufouh fills quickly. Both locations supply free lane ropes and shaded rest areas with drinking fountains.
Swimmers planning a session should check the Dubai Municipality app for same-day water-quality updates and arrive with their own kickboard if they want to focus on technique drills. The facilities close for maintenance on the first Monday of each month, with the next closure set for 3 August.
