Early Risers Find 5 Best Palm Jumeirah Waterfront Spots for Yoga
Early risers in Palm Jumeirah are turning to specific waterfront parks for daily meditation and yoga sessions before the July heat builds.
How we reported this

Palm Jumeirah residents have increased their use of two shoreline parks for sunrise meditation and yoga, with sessions now starting at 5:15 a.m. on the eastern and western crescents.
The shift comes as summer temperatures climb past 38 degrees Celsius by mid-morning, pushing wellness routines earlier to avoid the midday sun. Local fitness apps recorded a 28 percent rise in outdoor activity bookings between May and June this year compared with the same period in 2025.
Two parks drawing daily crowds
Shoreline Park along the Palm trunk near Golden Mile offers flat grass patches facing the Dubai skyline, where groups gather for guided breathing exercises. Further along the western crescent, The Pointe promenade provides wooden decks and shaded corners beside the water, used by residents for individual yoga flows before 6 a.m. Both sites sit within a 10-minute drive of most frond villas and remain open without entry fees.
A Dubai Health Authority report from March 2026 noted that 62 percent of surveyed Palm Jumeirah adults now exercise outdoors at least three times weekly, up from 41 percent in 2024. Morning classes at The Pointe cost 65 AED per drop-in session, while free community mats are available at Shoreline Park on Tuesdays and Fridays through the Palm Residents Association program.
Practical steps for new participants
Arrive by 5 a.m. to secure space near the water at either location, and bring a towel or mat rated for sand. Participants should check the Dubai Municipality app for any temporary closures due to maintenance, which last occurred on 2 July. Those new to the routine can join the Palm Jumeirah Wellness Network’s introductory sessions held every Sunday at 5:30 a.m. at Shoreline Park.
